Steelers Blame Headsets For Their Loss

Mike Tomlin and the Steelers are all but accusing the Patriots of tampering with their headphones. For the first 14 minutes of the game, Pittsburgh reported that their headsets were receiving the Patriots broadcast, and it was so loud that they couldn’t get plays through. Instead of understanding that the NFL is in charge of the headsets, Tomlin moped about how “that’s always the case” in New England. An article on the Steelers website went even further with the speculation saying:

“Strangely enough, whenever an NFL representative proceeded to the New England sideline to shut down their headsets, the Steelers headsets cleared. Then as the representative walked away from the New England sideline, the Steelers’ headsets again started to receive the Patriots game broadcast.”

Looks like Bill is back at his voodoo magic! Mysteriously adding headset noise and then with a snap of his finger, BOOM, it’s gone. Another snap, and it’s back again! Never mind the fact that the same thing happened in Pittsburgh or that the Patriots had major headset issues too. Instead of looking at the real issues of why they lost, Tomlin chose to blame Belichick Black Magic.

All I can say is, We’re On To Buffalo!
