This Winter has really put New Englander’s sanity to the test; with record (never-ending) snow and freezing temperatures into April. Most of us have been planning, or at least fantasizing, about going anywhere warm! Well, apparently, we can add Antarctica to the list of warm getaways.
The Boston Globe reported that Antarctica had it’s warmest day ever recorded last week with a temperature of 63.5 degrees; while Boston only topped out in the mid-30s. Without turning this into a global warming debate, all we can conclude is that Boston is too damn cold for too damn long! We could really use a 63 degree day!
