There’s no denying The Patriots have not had the best start to the 2014 season (we all saw the blood bath that was Monday Night Football this week) but does that mean their chances of a Super Bowl victory are over?
After four games, 2 wins/2 losses, it’s still too early to tell. We aren’t even in the first game of October and people are predicting what will happen (err not happen) in January and February. The Belichick/Brady duo hasn’t seen a Super Bowl victory since 2004 but they’ve won the AFC East the last five years and 10 of the last 11 seasons. They have also been to the AFC championship game five times in the past eight years; winning twice in the past seven years.
Turning this team around probably won’t be easy but if anyone can do it, it’s Bill Belichick! We all just need to take a deep breath and remind ourselves that there’s a reason they play 16 games in the (regular) season. Let’s hope for a much better game against the Bengals this week so they can have more wins than losses on their record! We have faith in you, Belichick!
