The Bruins officially started training camp yesterday, September 18th, for the 2014-2015 season! On Thursday, they reported to TD Garden for testing and physicals. Today, they hit the ice in Wilmington for a four day practice session before their first exhibition game in Montreal on Tuesday. Tuesday’s game will be a sort of rematch from the last time the team played and was eliminated from the playoffs by the Canadiens.
The team has had a long Summer (longer than we all hoped) to rest and get ready to take on those pesky Habs! Our friends in Black and Gold will return without two of the fan favorites, Thorty and Iggy who have since been traded. Not to worry, the leadership of the team is still strong; Chara, Bergeron, and Rask, among, others are sure to lead the team to another great season!
Let’s hope this game against the Canadiens pokes the bear early and they start off strong and finish successful! Fall may mean that Winter is coming but it also means the Bruins are back! Let’s paint this town in black and gold – Go B’s!
