As you probably know by now, Michael Penada was ejected from last night’s Sox/Yankees game at Fenway Park during the second inning. It was very clear something was on his neck but it wasn’t clear that anyone would say anything; since they hadn’t in the past. Red Sox manager, John Farrell had clearly had enough! He asked the umpire to check the substance and he was gone in no time!
The Red Sox were up 2-0 when ‘Pinegate’ happened and went on to win the 5-1. Do you think Farrell should’ve said something? It will be interesting to see what, if anything, happens tonight!
In honor of #TBT, this incident reminds us of a great scene from Naked Gun. Check it out below (at 60 seconds).
