The B’s Head West

The Bruins next three games out West are against the toughest teams in the Pacific Division.  They begin tonight in Anaheim, CA against the Ducks; who are currently tied for the top spot in the Western Conference.  Thursday night, they’ll stay in So Cal to play the 3rd place Kings before heading North to San Jose to take on the sharks.

After last Saturday’s game at the Garden, Bruins coach Claude Julien said that the team is all aware how challenging this road trip is going to be.  When asked, goalie Tuukka Rask, who could possibly play all three games, said, “You try to win every game, right?…Obviously, but we can’t just go there and expect to win with an OK effort because they’re great teams and they’re home wreckers that are probably one of the best in the league. We have to be really tight defensively and be smart about it and make smart plays. We’ll start on Tuesday and try to get off on a good note.”

Let’s hope the California sun brings the B’s some good luck and they dominate the West!
