Roberto Gronkowski “Yo Soy Fiesta” T-Shirt

You have probably heard “Roberto” Gronkowski’s legendary quote After Sunday’s AFC Championship game. When an ESPN Deportes reporter asked Gronk if he was going to celebrate after the game, Gronk uttered the now famous words:

Yo Soy Fiesta T-Shirt (Click Here)

We knew Gronkowski was an unstoppable Tight End on the field and a larger than life character off of it… but bilingual? No one saw that coming. Gronk literally said “I am party” and we couldn’t agree more. Gronk, you are party. You are fiesta.

Red Sox Sign Ross To Bolster Uncertain OF

The Red Sox have acquired some big help in the outfield, signing Giants OF Cody Ross to a 1 year $3 million deal. With Carl Crawford’s status in question for Opening Day and the uncertain situation in Right Field after JD Drew’s exit, a proven vet like Ross will be a welcome addition to this Red Sox team.

Funny Video Of Ravens Fan Who Lost A Bet

This funny video was sent to us by a fellow Chowdahead via twitter. Apparently this poor guy is a Ravens fan. You’re darn right Baltimore got Gronked!

Win It For Myra

An emotional Robert Kraft said after Sunday’s AFC Championship victory that he believes “Myra is watching”. Kraft has had a rough year, losing his beloved wife to cancer while in the midst of settling the NFL lockout. During Myra’s final few months, Kraft said he spent 95% of his time with his “sweetheart” and the other 5% solving the lockout (only because she encouraged him to do so). The Patriots have been sporting MHK patches all year long and we would all love to see them win this one for Myra – a renownded humanitarian who was loved by all who knew her. The Kraft family deserves this Super Bowl win. Let’s hope the Patriots can go out and get it done against the Giants.

Patriots To Meet Giants In Epic Super Bowl Rematch

Tom Brady dove over the pile to score the game winning TD and send the Patriots to Indianapolis for Super Bowl XLVI. Brady said after the game that he “Sucked” and that the Patriots defense won them the game. I would agree the D stepped up (specifically Sterling Moore knocking the GW Touchdown out of Lee Evans’ hands with 0:27 left & Brandon Spikes’ big pick earlier in the 4th) but Brady shouldn’t beat himself up. The iconic QB played winning football. No more, no less.

We all know Tom Brady won’t put up two bad games in a row, so the Giants better watch out on Super Bowl Sunday. Eli Manning & co. snuck past the San Francisco 49ers in Overtime to clinch the 07 Rematch. Manning looked pretty good, but he will have to be great in order to beat Brady in Indy.

Bill Belichick was all smiles after Sunday’s game. The normally stone faced legend was overjoyed to have another shot at the Lombardi Trophy. Thanks to a pulled kick from Bill Cundiff (now the most hated man in Maryland) the Pats didn’t even need OT to seal the Super Bowl bid. An AFC Championship makes for a Happy Hoodie. Now, the NFL’s greatest mind has 2 weeks to prepare for his chance at the ultimate revenge.

Patriots Are In Ravens’ Heads

When asked about Terrell Suggs’ recent comments on WEEI’s The Big Show, Matt Light said he has learned to tune Suggs out, like an “annoying aunt” that you start to ignore after years of crazy talk.  Since Ed Reed called out Joe Flacco after his iffy performance during their win against the Houston Texans on Sunday,  Terrell Suggs and even Ray Lewis have been surprisingly humble. I Still expect it to be a close contest, but I love to see the Ravens acting so scared before the AFC Championship matchup at Gillette.

Bruins Look Good Despite Loss

The Bruins may not have gotten the win against the New York Rangers, but there were plenty of positives to take away from Saturday’s game at the TD Garden. Boston was neck & neck with New York for 60+ minutes of hockey, until Andrew Ference was handed a 5 minute major & game misconduct 2 minutes into overtime. Thanks to several good saves from Tuuka Rask the Bruins almost killed the penalty to force a shootout, but the Rangers knocked in a scrappy goal with less than 4 seconds to go in the OT period. Boston lost because of a bad penalty and a fluky goal at the last second. And they are number 1 in the Eastern Conference. The Bruins are showing signs of being human by losing a handful of games in the last two weeks, but they still look like the League’s most complete team from where I’m sitting.

Resilient Bruins Score 4 In The 3rd To Demolish Devils

The Boston Bruins showed the heart that won them a Stanley Cup last year during Thursday night’s comeback win against the New Jersey Devils. After being stoned by Marty Brodeur all evening, the B’s came out firing in the 3rd period. Andrew Ference fired a rocket off the post and in to tie the game, then Nathan Horton & Gregory Campbell scored 35 seconds apart to take an widen the lead. Chris Kelly dumped in an empty netter to add insult to injury as your Boston Bruins showed exactly what they are made of in another signature win. Never giving up, the B’s were able to turn it on when it mattered most. Maybe the return of Brad Marchand (who was relatively quiet in this one) gave the Black & Gold their swagger back after a mini slump in which they lost 3 of 6 games following the controversial loss to Vancouver. But more so, it seemed like the resilient attitude that this Bruins team has become known for manifested itself on the ice in New Jersey. Games like this keep Stanley Cup repeat chatter alive in Beantown.

The Squirrel Returns

Brad Marchand will be back in the Bruins lineup on Thursday night to take on the New Jersey Devils after serving a 5 game suspension for table-topping Sammi Salo. Many Boston fans are still ticked over the length of his suspension, but most importantly Black & Gold supporters are ecstatic to have him back. The guy they call “Squirrel” is no stranger to controversy so don’t expect the suspension to alter his style of play: Marchand will be his usual, chippy self. The B’s could use a boost after losing 3 of their last 6 games so hopefully the feisty squirrel provides that spark.
