Pats Clinch Home Field Advantage With Huge Comeback Win

The Buffalo Bills took a 21-0 lead over the Patriots. Pats fan screamed at their televisions, threw objects around their living rooms and ranted about how New England’s Defense was so bad they were going to get smoked in the Playoffs. And then, for the second week in a row, something magical happened. The Patriots scored 49 unanswered points to bury the Bills 49-21 and clinch the top seed in the AFC. Gronk hauled in 2 TDs in yet another epic performance. The comeback win was eerily similar to the Christmas Eve contest against Miami where the Pats rallied back from a 17-0 deficit to grab the W at Gillette. New England was able to avenge their loss earlier this season in Buffalo and clinch home field advantage for the Postseason, so now the Pats get to relax and watch the Playoff picture unfold while the rest their aching bodies over the bye week. Hopefully Logan Mankins is able to return from his knee injury and help prevent the Pats from falling behind big time early, since a higher caliber team may not prove so easy to rally against. For now, Patriot fans deserve to celebrate after embarrassing Ryan Fitzpatrick in the Bills in a game that looked like a potential blowout in Buffalo’s favor for most of the first half.
