Bruins Shutout Flyers To Tie For 1st In Eastern Conference



The Bruins defeated the Flyers 6-0 on Saturday at the Wells Fargo Center in Philadelphia. Tim Thomas made 31 saves to earn yet another shutout, continuing is dominant 2011-2012 season. The B’s got things going right away, with first period goals from Benoit Pouliot, Daniel Paille, Zdeno Chara and Milan Lucic. Nathan Horton and Tyler Seguin piled on two more goals to complete the massacre. Boston is now tied with Philly for first place in the Eastern Conference.
