The Boston Bruins have won 2 strait games and appear to be finding the chemistry that carried them to a Stanley Cup victory in 2011. The B’s shellacked the Maple Leafs 7-0 in Toronto on Saturday thanks in part to a Tyler Seguin Hat Trick. Seguin is coming into his own this year and has lived up to (maybe even surpassed) all the hype.
Tuukka Rask finally earned his first W of the season on Monday night against the Islanders in a 6-2 drubbing of the Islanders at the TD Garden. Nathan Horton scored 2 goals, regaining his nose for the net which the Bruins so badly need.
The Bruins 5 game home stand continues on Thursday night when the Edmonton Oilers visit Beantown. Boston is now 6-7 on the year, so a win Thursday would put them at .500 and officially mark their recovery from the Stanley Cup hangover. The B’s look like they’ve finally come around and are back on track looking to make another run at the Postseason.
