Biggest Game of the Sox Season

Tonight’s showdown against the Rays is undoubtedly the biggest game of the Red Sox season. The Wild Card race hangs in the balance as Josh Beckett and the Sox try to fend off a pesky Tampa Bay team. The Rays have cut our Wild Card lead to 3 games, with exactly that many games left in the series. After the young Kyle Weiland failed to get it done last night, the Red Sox need a wily Veteran to right the ship.

Red Sox Nation is anxiously awaiting Beckett’s return. The Ace’s ankle injury filled our hearts with doom and gloom, but Beckett’s fast recovery has injected hope into the Fenway Faithful. Expect a playoff atmosphere at Fenway Park tonight. The panic meter is rising as we enter the final two weeks of the season in a heated Wild Card race that nobody expected. Boston’s heart beats with the Red Sox, and we need a win tonight to avoid going into cardiac arrest.
