Celtics put Cavs in their place

The Boston Celtics won their fourth-straight game as Rajon Rondo’s season-high 23 points helped the Celtics exact some revenge on the Cleveland Cavaliers at Quicken Loans Arena on Tuesday night.

On Thursday, Cavs fans will look to exact some revenge on the Miami Heat’s foward, and old friend, Lebron James but may have very well forgotten that they had to play the Celtics on Tuesday.

A 35-point outburst in the second quarter, put the Celtics up by 11 at halftime as Rondo and C’s never looked back.  Rondo added 12 assists in Boston’s 106-87 victory as Glen Davis added 17 points and Marquis Daniels chipped in 16 of his own off of the bench.

On other news, Shaquille O’Neal apologized to Boston’s Big 3 for missing practice on Monday, saying that he misread the teams message board.  Shaq chipped in six points in 23 minutes of play.

The Celtics will look to make it five straight against the Toronto Trail Blazers at home on Wednesday.
