Celtics Inactives For Home Opener

The Boston Celtics open up the NBA season tonight against the Miami Heat, but will be without rookies Avery Bradley and Semih Erden, as well as veterans Delonte West and Kendrick Perkins.

Bradley has been battling soreness from his surgically repaired ankle, while Erden has been dealing with a banged-up shoulder.  West was suspended by the league for 10 games in August after pleading guilty to weapons charges after authorities stopped West while speeding on a three-wheel motorcycle, carrying two loaded handguns and loaded shotgun.

Perkins is recovering from off-season knee surgery.

The Miami Heat will be without Mario Chalmers, Mike Miller, and Dexter Pittman on Tuesday night’s season opener.
