The NBA season-opener on Tuesday night between the Boston Celtics and Miami Heat may be a good indication for what lies ahead for the two teams, and the NBA, in this year’s 2010-11 campaign.
But then again, maybe not.
In the most-highly anticipated NBA season ever, the C’s and Heat will tip off on Tuesday at the Garden in what many experts predict as a likely Eastern Conference Championship matchup.
The Celtics come into this season finally healthy, overly motivated, and with unequivocal depth on the bench. The Heat are fresh off of an off-season that netted them with big time signings of Lebron James, Chris Bosh, Mike Miller, Eddie House, and Big Z, while also re-signing Dwayne Wade.
Although Tuesday’s result may be a little premature in determining who reigns supreme in the East, it should be a good indicator for how things, and the NBA, should unfold in the upcoming season.
