Rays Look To Get To ALCS To Face Yankees

The Tampa Bay Rays face Cliff Lee and the Texas Rangers Tuesday night in hopes of advancing to the American League Championship Series to host the New York Yankees.

After losing the first two games to the Rangers, the Rays have turned it on in the past two games to force a deciding Game 5.  In a pitching rematch of Game 1, the series clincher will showcase David Price against Lee.  In what could be the last game in a Rays uniform for Carl Crawford, Carlos Pena, and Rafael Soriano, Tampa expects to have a packed house at Tropicana Field.

An interesting postseason thus far, a Rays and Yankees ALCS could be an intriguing, yet depressing, matchup for Red Sox fans.  But a part of Sox hearts may be rooting for the Rangers to uproot the Rays, so the likes of Crawford and Soriano don’t get too attached to their current teams before their impending free agencies.

Prediction: Rays 4-2
