Kevin Garnett and Kendrick Perkins both sat out yesterday’s practice but according to coach Doc Rivers, both would have played if it was a game night. Kevin Garnett suffered a mild right foot sprain late in Monday night’s win over Cleveland and Perkins hyper-extended his knee during shoot around before the game. It turns out this three day break between Game 2 and Game 3 of the Eastern Conference Semifinals may benefit the Celtics after all. A little rest for the weary.
It’s time for the media to settle down about Lebron’s elbow. The Celtics play injured too. If you’re healthy enough to be on the court, you’re healthy enough to play. No excuses.
